Welcome to Halal Check AI. This Service is provided by TechWest Solutions at no cost and is intended for use as is. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.

1. Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained on your device and is not collected by us in any way unless explicitly stated.

• Camera Access: Used solely for scanning barcodes and ingredient labels.
• Image Processing: Images are processed in real-time via secure AI APIs (Groq AI) to provide Halal analysis. We do not store your personal photos.

2. Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send you reminders and updates. You can opt-out of these notifications at any time through your device settings.

3. Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

• Google Play Services
• AdMob (Advertising)
• Firebase Crashlytics & Messaging
• Groq AI (Analysis Engine)

4. Log Data

In case of an error in the app, we collect data and information on your phone called Log Data. This may include your device IP address, device name, operating system version, and the time/date of your use.

5. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete it.

6. Security

We value your trust in providing us your information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
